About Us
BrahMos Aerospace Pvt Ltd is an aerospace and defence company with a focus on the manufacture of cruise missiles.
The company’s land-based weapon complex system comprises mobile autonomous launchers (MAL) controlled by a mobile command post (MCP), and a mobile replenishment vehicle (MRV). MAL is an autonomous vehicle with its own communication, power supply, and fire control system.
The land-based version includes an inertial navigation system and a global positioning system (GPS). Its air-launched cruise missile (ALCM) with attack capabilities against sea and land targets has been developed for the Indian Airforce’s frontline air combat platform Sukhoi-30MKI.
BrahMos missiles can hit sea or land-based targets beyond radar horizons. It can be launched in either horizontal or vertical configuration based on the type of ship or user requirements.
