Terma has upgraded the AN/ALQ-213(V) electronic warfare management system (EMWS) on six Royal Danish Air Force (RDAF) F-16 fighter aircraft.

The company has upgraded the EMWS system by incorporating an automated threat display and 3-D audio warning to reduce pilot response time and increase situational awareness.

The system controls onboard EW subsystems and operates in a manual, semi-automatic or automatic mode to reduce the pilot’s workload.

The system is night vision compatible and is operational on several aircraft types including fighters, helicopters and transport aircraft worldwide.

The upgraded aircraft were deployed for the UN-led Libyan mission.
