Raytheon has offered the advanced combat radar system (RACR) in response to the Republic of Korea’s (ROK) request for a F-16 fighter radar upgrade.
The radar system is equipped with active electronically scanned array (AESA) technology that offers extended detection range for multi-target tracking during air-to-air and air-to-ground operations.
RACR has been flight-tested on a US Air Force (USAF) F-16 aircraft, highlighting its superior operational performance and multirole capabilities.
The compact, lightweight and scalable RACR has been designed for the worldwide fleet of F-16 and F/A-18 aircraft.
