French defence company, Thales SA has issued 0.75% fixed-rate bonds due 07 June 2023 and carrying a coupon rate of 0.75% through a public offering.

The proceeds from the offering, amounting to $667.39m, will be used to repay the company’s existing debt.

Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics Corporation has purchased the assets of MIPNET Industries, a company that operates under the brand name JTT Composites, with the aim of expanding its product offerings.

The US Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC) has awarded a $138.69m contract modification to United Launch Services LLC (ULA) to provide launch vehicle production services for the Atlas V 541 launch vehicle configuration.

The new contract also adds mission-specific commodities for previous missions and is scheduled for completion in September 2018.

The US Air Force Civil Engineer Center has awarded a $950m indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to 18 companies including Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. to provide design and construction services.

Under the contract, Jacobs will provide architect-engineering (A-E) 2013, Title I and Title II services to support military construction at government facilities across the globe.
