Lockheed Martin Corporation has received a $287.19m-worth contract to supply an additional five C-130J Super Hercules military transport aircraft for the US Air Force through April 2020.

The contract has been awarded by the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center as a modification to a previously awarded contract.

The US Air Force Life Cycle Management Center has awarded a missile defence systems contract modification, valued at $41.73m, to Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation.

Northrop Grumman will supply large aircraft infrared counter measures (LAIRCM) system line replaceable units for Australia and Canada, as part of the two-year contract.

Vectrus Systems Corporation has won a $21m contract to provide installation, maintenance and recreation services for the US Air Force at Al Udeid Air Base in Doha, Qatar, beginning this month.
