AeroVironment Inc has won a $36.5m-worth contract to supply Wasp AE micro air vehicle for the Australian Defence Force for a period of three years.

The contractor will also provide training and logistics support to the Australian Defence Force for ten years.

The air vehicles to be supplied under the contract will be modified to meet the Australian military needs.

Northrop Grumman Corporation has awarded a five-year contract worth $90m to Orbital ATK Inc to supply composite structures for the B-2 Spirit stealth bomber.

As part of the agreement, Orbital ATK will provide non-recurring engineering and manufacture composite components for the B-2 Spirit aircraft.
