The Finnish Air Force has awarded a contract for a ground systems network to a team including Rockwell Collins, BAE Systems AeI and Insta DefSec Oy.
The system will support the exchange of command and control information and situational data between the air defence command and control system, aircraft and other Link 16-equipped assets.

The system will also provide intelligent control of multiple Link 16 networks across the country.
Rockwell’s Rosetta technology will provide the air force with key networking capability to enable pilots to identify friendly and enemy aircraft and simplify sensor and data link management to enhance situational awareness.
