If signed, the deal will also include possible technology transfers, according to Bloomberg.
The US Air Force uses the Predator as one of three unmanned drone models in Iraq and Afghanistan.
France is considering purchasing the US drones to replace its existing fleet, which has suffered from mechanical problems, according to Bloomberg, citing an October 2009 Le Point magazine report.
