The Indian Air Force (IAF) has carried out user trials of its laser-guided bombs with the Indian Aeronautical Development Establishment (ADE) at Pokhran.
During the flight test, the bombs’ accuracy, reliability and performance was looked at after each launch from the aircraft.

The tests were conducted after extensive simulation, design validation and ground experiments, and were followed by a series of flight evaluations.
The IAF will upgrade a large number of laser-guided bombs to this standard based on the results collected during the tests.
