Northrop Grumman has signed an agreement with the US Air Force Global Logistics Centre (AFGLSC) to help it improve its supply chain for the nation’s warfighters.
Under the contract Northrop and the US Air Force will identify ways to reduce costs and supply-chain cycle times.
Northrop will also help identify efficient business processes for both parties using value stream mapping, and by addressing diminishing manufacturing sources, material shortages and obsolescence issues.
