Wyle Information Systems has put together a diverse team of information services companies to pursue the highly lucrative telephony products and solutions component of the US Air Force’s network-centric solutions-2 (NETCENTS-2) contract.

The contract, which is expected to be awarded in the second quarter of 2010 is valued at $19bn over a seven-year period. Of this amount the telephony products and solutions component is valued at $1.08bn.

The scope of the potential award will include providing range of telephony products and solutions, performing infrastructure requirements and analysis, upgrading systems and providing continuity of operations solutions.

The project will also comprise design, physical plant installation, voice switching systems solutions and maintenance and support services to all US Air Force facilities worldwide.

Wyle’s team includes companies such as Altech Services, Barrister Global Services Network, Callware Technologies, CLR Group, G2SF, INX, Leader Communications Inc, The Moore Group and The Northridge Group, and Preferred Systems Solutions.

For the past five years, Wyle has been providing the same services as a subcontractor on the current NETCENTS contract, the predecessor to NETCENTS-2.
