Integral Systems has submitted a proposal to deliver an integrated, advanced command and control solution for the US Air Force's global positioning system (GPS) next-generation advanced control segment (OCX) programme.

The next-generation satellite system will provide command and control operations for all GPS II and future GPS III satellites, enhancing their capability in mission planning, execution and constellation management.

Integral will provide a solution leveraging its command and control system-consolidated programme already in operation at the at Schriever Air Force Base for MILSATCOM.

The control and command solution will offer responsive navigation advantage to the air force.

Integral Systems is a member of the Northrop Grumman team competing for the open-architecture GPS OCX contract.
