A fleet of Typhoon instrumented production aircraft (IPA) 7 have completed key test flights, Eurofighter has announced.
The IPA 7 fleet completed a Paveway IV bomb handling and qualities familiarising flight armed with six Paveway IV bombs, four MRAMMs and two SRAAMs missiles.
The test was to prove how the Flight Control System (FCS) reacts with full weaponry loaded, Eurofighter said.
The IPA 7 also completed five Missile Approach Warning (MAW) flights, carried out with the support of a Luftwaffe F-4 Phantom and a Tornado.
The UK-based RAF Harrier will take part in the MAW trials for the aircrafts in August 2009.
