Boeing has signed a letter of intent with AAR Aircraft Component Services to support Royal Netherlands Air Force (RNLAF) rotorcraft operations by cooperating on maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) capabilities.

The collaboration between the companies will increase the readiness rates of RNLAF’s CH-47 Chinook and AH-64D Apache helicopters.

Boeing entered an MRO team work agreement with Netherlands Ministry of Defence Logistic Centre Woensdrecht (LCW) in 2010.

AAR also provides overhaul, repair and maintenance of components for RNLAF’s KDC-10s, F-16s, C-130s and Nato airborne warning and control system (AWACS) 707 aircraft as well as for the UK Royal Air Force.
