Cassidian has been awarded a contract to provide maintenance and training operations for the German Air Force’s (Luftwaffe) Eurofighter flight simulators.
Under the Federal Office of Defence Technology and Procurement contract, Cassidian will operate, maintain and repair six flight simulators at Luftwaffe’s three Eurofighter units in Rostock-Laage, Neuburg an der Donau and Nörvenich, Germany.
The contract also involves Cassidian and Luftwaffe collaboration to train experienced pilots in the tactical deployment of the systems.
The contract, which will run until August 2015, will be executed with two other companies – CAE Elektronik and Rheinmetall Defence Electronics.
