The US Defense Security Cooperation Agency has notified Congress of a possible foreign military sale order (FMSO) for spare parts for Pakistan’s existing aircraft.

Under the estimated $62m order, Pakistan has requested funds for blanket order requisition FMSO II, under the cooperative logistics supply support agreement (CLSSA) for spare parts to the Pakistani Air Force (PAF).

The PAF’s inventory includes F-16, C-130, T-37 and T-33 aircraft as well as other US-built aircraft and systems / subsystems.

The supply of spare parts will allow the PAF to keep its aircraft fleet at the highest state of readiness.

The parts will be procured from many contractors that supply US forces.
