Lockheed has completed production of the first of four C-130J Super Hercules for the Qatar Emiri Air Force.

The new Hercules for Qatar are the longer fuselage variant of the C-130J aircraft, which will be used for humanitarian relief and military missions for the defence of Qatar.

The company is also offering a complete C-130J package to the Qatari Air Force that will experience C-130s for the first time.

The package includes four aircraft, training of aircrew and maintenance technicians, spares, ground support and test equipment, servicing carts, cargo pallets and a team of technical specialists to provide initial support.

Deliveries of the aircraft will begin later this year.
