Alsalam Aircraft Company has been awarded a second contract to provide C-130 technical support services (TSP) to the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF).

Under the five year SAR545m ($145.2m) contract, the company will support and train the RSAF to maintain air force fleets worldwide.

The TSP contract contributes to the kingdom’s strategy to develop self-sufficiency in civil and military aircraft maintenance, overhaul and modification through the transfer of technology.

The company has also provided technical support and programmed depot maintenance (PDM) on several RSAF fleets that include F-15, Tornados, AWACS E-3A and KE3-A F-15 under previous contracts.
