Vectrus has received a contract to provide maintenance support services to facilities at the US Sheppard Air Force Base in Wichita County, Texas.

Services will be provided for installation management, installation engineering, emergency management, as well as operations and maintenance.

RSE Kazarnaulyexport has placed an order with Irkut Corporation for the next batch of Sukhoi Su-30SM multirole fighter aircraft to the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Additional fighters are hoped to strengthen the combat capabilities of the Kazakhstan Air Force.

Contractual work is expected to be completed by 2020.

Heli-One has secured a contract for work on the AS532U2-MKII Cougar multi-purpose helicopters operated by the Royal Netherlands Air Force (RNLAF).

The CHC Helicopter division will provide base maintenance support for the AS532U2-MKII Cougar helicopters at RNLAF’s Woensdrecht Air Base logistic centre.

Raytheon and Defence Science and Technology (DST) have signed an agreement to collaborate on the development of advanced electronic warfare capabilities for the Australian Defence Force.

Raytheon will provide its Multi-Function Receiver Exciter System test bench, which includes Raytheon’s Next Generation Jammer Mid-band, a control system, and a modelling and simulation environment.

The contractor will focus on extending the ‘position, navigation and time autonomous negotiator applying cognitive effects-based analysis’ (PANACEA) solution to control multiple global navigation satellite systems and their host platforms.

Contractual work will be performed at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and Dayton, Ohio, until August 2023.
