Cubic has been awarded an indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity (ID/IQ) task order contract to provide counter chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) support to the US Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL).

The $9.9m contract was awarded by the US Air Force (USAF) under an AFRL Broad Agency Announcement.

The agreement requires Cubic Mission Support Services to support the AFRL Human-Centered Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Division in the counter CBRN and survivability mission areas.

Specifically, the contract will focus on research, analysis, testing and evaluations of technology that will enhance the USAF’s joint CBRN counter-proliferation and survivability mission in the cyber, electronic warfare, consequence management, alternative energy and intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) domains.

Work under the contract will be managed by Cubic Applications, an operating company of Cubic Mission Support Services from San Diego, California, US, and is scheduled to last for five years.

The AFRL Human-Centered Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Division conducts research to optimise and aid airmen accomplishing ISR missions, discover new performance assessment methods, and explores the ways to improve future airman-machine teams.
