Raytheon has partnered with Boeing to supply a comprehensive command, control, communications, computers, cyber and intelligence (C5I) solution to the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF).

Raytheon is offering a specific and tailored C5I systems approach based on its command view mission solutions suite for the upgrade of the RSAF’s command and control (C2) system.

The programme will be led by ThalesRaytheonSystems, a joint venture between Raytheon and Thales, and Saudi Arabian joint venture, Raytheon Atheeb Systems Limited (RASL).

The command view mission solutions is currently fielded and operational in several locations. It is designed to help users collect timely, critical information and act decisively to avert a crisis or rapidly respond to resolve an emergency.

In particular, the system extends mission effectiveness from strategic operations centres to the tactical edge of the operational environment.

Raytheon has already supplied RSAF’s existing CS system, including the recent Air Operations Centre, as well as the Saudi Arabian Defence Ministry’s C4I system, Al Diriyah, Riyadh.
