"In this context, we will reorganise and increase the efficiency of the Air Forces, first of all, the air defence."

The government will reinstate the armament and air defence equipment and provide training on using the systems.

The East European nation is also set to continue the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) reform by creating the Special Operations Force, restore the Naval Force and develop highly mobile airborne troops in 2016.

Financial supply of contractors will be doubled complying with the state budget that allocates 2.5% GDP to the country’s defence ministry.

The US has committed to military education for Ukraine since the nation’s attempts to establish the US-led alliance and meet Nato standards.

Last year, the US federal government extended training of the Ukrainian National Guard to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, reported DefenseNews.

Approximately 200 Canadian Army soldiers from 5 Canadian Mechanized Brigade Group (5 CMBG) are set to be deployed to Ukraine for Operation Unifier.

In November, the UK agreed to provide additional equipment worth nearly £1m to the Ukraine Armed Forces (UAF) to support the soldiers through winter.
