US-based Leidos has secured a contract to provide environmental services for the US Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC).

Awarded by the Air Force Installation Contracting Agency, the contract requires the company to provide Title I and Title II design services for environmental construction projects.

Additionally, the multiple-award, indefinite-delivery / indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract covers provision for a full range of environmental services, including the implementation of restoration; pollution prevention and compliance; and conservation environmental projects.

Leidos infrastructure and engineering business senior vice-president and operations manager Jim Moos said: "We have maintained a strong relationship with the Air Force for decades.

"Our team has proven to be vital solutions providers for AFCEC’s environmental and other missions."

The company is one of multiple contractors eligible to compete for work under this contract, which has a combined, maximum ceiling of $500m.
