A $319.6m contract has been awarded to IBM Corporation to support the Defence Commissary Agency’s commissary advanced resale transaction system (CARTS).

Air Industries Group’s Nassau Tool Works will perform the contractual work over the next two years, with the deliveries expected to commence in 2018.

The contract is part of a ten year, $1.5bn US Air Force landing gear prime vendor contract awarded to four companies including Helicopter Tech.

Sabena Technics and Thales have received a contract to deliver light intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance aircraft for the French Air Force.

The contract, placed by the Directorate General of Armaments (DGA), requires Sabena and Thales to deliver two aircraft based on Beechcraft King Air 350 airframe and a ground station.

The deliveries are expected to be completed by 2019.
