A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to support Denmark’s F/A-18E/F Super Hornet training systems facility requirements has been signed by the Boeing Company and Danish-owned aviation simulation and defence training solutions provider IFAD TS A/S.

Under the MoU, both companies will jointly explore opportunities to enhance Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) computer technology within Denmark’s Super Hornet training facility.

The companies may also take the research towards continuing support and enhancement of Super Hornet training systems for the Royal Danish Air Force.

IFAD chief executive officer Benny Mortensen said that the alliance will ensure that only the latest mission critical hardware and software is used to the strike fighter air crews.

”The collaboration to search for new methods to upgrade Royal Danish Air Force Super Hornet LAN and WAN computer systems with advanced platforms can enhance the country’s defence-based aviation training network,” Mortensen said.
