In addition, ITT will supply a suite of navigational aids, communications, training, logistics support and will install a third line depot facility in Oman to support RAFO’s long-term self-sufficiency and growth.

ITT developed TASR as a future generation radar that can identify, sequence and separate participating aircraft and coordinate aircraft identification while providing final approach guidance through air defence corridors and zones.

The ATC solution will work in sync with the existing ATC systems in Oman, enhancing RAFO’s operational efficiency and performance.

The company is expected to deliver the ATC solution to the RAFO by the end of 2011.
