The Brazilian Air Force has awarded a $15m contract to aviation repair and overhaul services company Vector Aerospace Corporation to support the air force’s fleet of Bell H-1H helicopters.

Under the five-year contract, the company will provide support for airframe inspection and repair services as well as logistics support.

In addition, the company will perform dynamic component repair and overhaul work for transmissions, gearboxes and hydraulics of the Bell Helicopters.

Work will be carried out at a military facility in Brazil as well as at the company’s Bell Helicopter-approved repair and overhaul facility in Alabama, US.
