Quickstep Holdings has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Lockheed and Northrop to supply F-35 joint strike fighter aircraft components.
The MoU, with a potential to be converted to a long-term deal, will offer 19,000 composite components including exterior skins, access panels, fuel-tank covers and weapons-bay doors.

The deal would be worth about $650m over the 20-year life of the fighter’s development programme.
The JSF programme is being funded primarily by the US and the UK Government, in partnership with Australia, Italy, the Netherlands, Canada, Turkey, Norway and Denmark.
