To strengthen the country’s air force, Argentina is considering buying 12 Dassault Mirage F1CJ fighters and one F1BJ trainer, at a cost of $100m.

The deal is significant for Argentina as the air force’s remaining Mirage IIIEA/DAs will retire in 2012, according to Flightglobal.
