The German Air Force has received the first upgraded Tornado production aircraft with avionics software system Tornado ada (ASSTA) to meet the ASSTA 2 capability standard.
The ASSTA 2 programme will improve the Tornado’s cockpit displays and increase its survivability against the latest ground-based and airborne defence systems.
