Ukraine has offered to jointly develop a medium weight transport aircraft for the Indian Air Force (IAF).

The payload carrying capacity of the proposed An-178 aircraft will be between the C-130J and An-32 aircraft, according to PTI.

The Indian government is currently considering Ukraine’s proposal to produce the 10-12 tonne class weight aircraft based on the Antonov-148 commercial aircraft.
