BAE Systems will provide repair and support services for the Typhoon aircraft’s avionics equipment, under a £150m ($221m) contract from Eurofighter.
The contract will cover the Typhoon fleet serving in Germany, Spain and the UK.

Under the new contract, BAE will provide solutions to technical problems more quickly and reduce the volume of repair activity.
It will also provide a range of repair services to reduce support costs, improve reliability and transfer the risk to industry rather than the customer.
BAE will work with seven key suppliers to deliver the repair support service.
