The Imperial Iranian Air Force (IIAF) is preparing its aircraft to carry out a massive aerial exercise in the coming months in a bid to display its aircraft strength and capabilities.
IIAF deputy air force commander Mohsen Darrehbaghi said that Iran would test its new set of advanced air-to-ground weaponry and gunnery equipment during the proposed exercise.

Aircraft including F-4s, F-5s, F-7s and the Sukhoi Su-24 fighter jets will participate in the military exercise, according to Iranian TV station Press TV.
Iran has fully refurbished and upgraded its Mirage F-1 fighter jets with domestic air-to-ground weaponry, including advanced machine rifles and rocket launchers.
