Australia has awarded a contract for the ongoing maintenance and support of the Royal Australian Air Force’s (RAAF) C-130H Hercules fleet to Qantas Defence Services.

Under the three-year A$136m (US$114m) contract, Qantas will provide maintenance, engineering and logistics support activities to the RAAF C-130H Hercules fleet.

The company will also provide T56 engine support for both the C-130H Hercules and AP3C Orion aircraft at RAAF Base Richmond.

Qantas Defence Services has been providing maintenance support to Australia’s 12 C-130H Hercules fleet since 1999.
