All three guidance systems operated simultaneously and provided telemetry data to enable further analysis of the weapon.

The JAGM includes a fully integrated tri-mode seeker that incorporates semiactive laser, uncooled imaging infrared and millimetre wave guidance.

The weapon also includes technology from Raytheon’s GBU-53/B small-diameter bomb II and Boeing’s Brimstone.

Designed to replace three legacy systems, the JAGM will offer warfighters improved lethality, range, operational flexibility, supportability and cost savings.
