India has successfully tested the electronic warfare (EW) suite for MiG-27 fighter aircraft that will be used to prevent any kind of enemy threats.
The EW suite for MiG-27 fighters of the Indian Air Force (IAF) will be operational by 2011.

The EW systems will also be integrated with the IAF’s MiG-29 fighters, Jaguar, Sukhoi-MKI-30 and Tejas light combat aircraft (LCA) by 2011, and is expected to be operational by 2012.
The fourth-generation system is developed by Defence Avionics Research Establishment (DARE) and Defence Electronics Research Laboratory (DERL), according to dnaindia.com.
