The new system is a small, lightweight FLIR imager with a systems electronic unit capable of supporting a variety of helicopter missions that include low-level navigation and surveillance.

Raytheon Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Systems vice president Tim Carey said the new systems will provide additional capabilities to the user to perform critical combat search and rescue missions.

Deliveries of the system are expected to be completed by February 2013.
