Delaware Resource Group (DRG) has been awarded a five-year small business subcontract by Flight Safety to train US Air Force (USAF) personnel on the C-5 Galaxy aircraft.
As per the terms of the contract, DRG will operate training locations at different US air bases that include Travis AFB, California, Westover Air Reserve Base, Massachusetts, Martinsburg, and Air National Guard Base.

The Lockheed-built C-5 Galaxy is one of the largest aircraft in the world and the largest airlifter with the USAF. It has been in operation since 1970.
The USAF currently maintains a total of 111 of the aircraft in its inventory.
DRG had previously been awarded a ten-year subcontract to support the KC-135 Stratotanker training programme by CAE.
The $50m contract will begin on 1 April 2011.
