Sabreliner has been awarded a firm-fixed-price contract by the US Army to modify UH-60M Black Hawk helicopters for the Royal Jordanian Air Force (RJAF).

The $15m award will include the modification of two VIP-version Black Hawk helicopters.

The UH-60 Black Hawk is a four-bladed, twin-engine, medium-lift utility helicopter used for a wide range of missions, including the tactical transport of troops, electronic warfare, and aeromedical evacuation.

Work will be carried out at the company’s facilities in Saint Louis, Missouri, US, with an estimated completion date of 30 September 2013.
