The Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) has awarded a contract to Saab to provide system maintenance for Gripen aircraft.
The Skr200m ($31m) order is a part of continual system maintenance and update tasks for the Gripen C/D, in line with the Swedish Armed Forces’ long-term plan.

The order applies to basic resources, which includes long-term renewal of test equipment for testing and verification of the Gripen system.
The order will be carried out during 2011.
