Raytheon has been awarded a firm fixed-price contract for the procurement of 54 multispectral targeting system (MTS) model B turret and high-definition electronic units.
Under the $71.2m contract, the company will also provide one lot of shop replacement units, vendor test equipment and 54 containers.

The MTS-B system provides long-range surveillance, high-altitude target acquisition, tracking, range finding and laser designation for the Hellfire missile and all tri-service and Nato laser-guided munitions.
The system also provides superior detecting, ranging, and tracking capabilities for the US Air Force Predator B aircraft.
Work will be carried out at the company’s facility in McKinney, Texas, US.
