The Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) has awarded a contract to Saab to provide support and maintenance for its Helicopter 15 (Agusta 109 LUHS), operated by the Swedish Armed Forces.

The 10-year SEK900m ($146.8m) contract includes options, and a first order intake of SEK350m ($57m) has already been registered.

Under the contract, the company will support and maintain all 20 helicopters including materiel and technical personnel.

The Swedish Armed Forces currently operate the Helicopter 15 from two bases in Linköping and Ronneby, Sweden.
