AECOM Technology Corporation has been awarded a task order by the US Air Force (USAF) for Contract Field Teams (CFT) to support the US Department of Defense and the Department of Homeland Security.

Under the task order, AECOM will provide component repair, cleaning, packaging, shipping and A-10 wing refurbishment support for the 309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group, 576 Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Squadron, and Davis-Monthan Air Force Base (DMAFB) in Arizona, US.

The task order also includes performing parts reclamation on multiple types of legacy aircraft stored at the DMAFB facility.

The $15m task order has a one year performance period and one option year.

The $10.12bn CFT program provides major and minor inspections, maintenance, modifications and repairs of aircraft and ground vehicles at US government locations worldwide.
