Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) has successfully delivered a certified physical security system to the US Air Force (USAF) for protecting critical assets at Tinker Air Force Base (AFB).
The delivery is part of the Electronic Systems Center’s force protection security system (FPS2) contract.

The FPS2 contract provides enhanced force and asset protection utilising integrated base defence capabilities at fixed and tactical sites worldwide.
The project includes design, installation, integration and testing of closed-circuit television, access control, and intrusion detection systems, as well as command, control and display equipment.
The company will provide follow-on logistics support for the system for one year.
