The surveillance data distribution system is a successor of Comsoft’s Radar Message Conversion and Distribution System (RMCDS), and is one of the company’s core products and a platform of several surveillance networks for a wide range of air navigation service providers (ANSPs).
The modular system is designed to serve as a key platform for communication between various ranges of protocols in addition to performing exchange, conversion, filtration, verification, as well as surveillance data distribution in heterogeneous ATC/ATM environments.
The systems are capable of bringing surveillance data from radar sensors of different generations and manufacturers to the data processing systems in a redundant fashion, and also enable the provision of possible addition of functionalities related to surveillance including automatic dependent surveillance-broadcast (ADS-B) or wide area multilateration (WAM).
The SWAL3 and SIL2-compliant systems will undergo all necessary tests prior to their scheduled operational service.
