The Islamic Republic of Iran Air Force (IRIAF) has been equipped with modern training tools and equipment in line with the latest changes in the country’s defensive doctrine, lieutenant commander Suleiman Mohammadi has said.

“The new air force plans have been drawn based on the needs and change in the country’s strategic defensive doctrine,” he added.

The modern and advanced flight simulators will enable the air force to promote its combat power and readiness and also simulate tactical flights and air raids.

The Iranian forces have recently started using the third generation of domestically built Cobra Chopper simulators in an airborne base in central Iran, according to Fars News Agency.

Iranian Army Airborne commander general Kiomarth Ahadi said the indigenous chopper simulators have helped reduce expenses and improve pilot training courses.
