"The combat helicopter was tested by the Russian armed forces for several years in various conditions."

Capable of performing aerobatic manoeuvres using its enhanced flight capabilities, the Mi-28N Night Hunter helicopters reportedly comply with all the latest combat helicopter requirements.

The latest commissioned helicopter forms part of the Russian Air Force’s plans to procure up to 60 of the Mi-28NE Night Hunter, of which three were ordered in 2005 and 16 more in 2006.

In addition to this, the helicopter manufacturer also developed a special Mi-28N with dual controls for pilot training, which started operations in August 2013.
