Diligent to provide cyber security technical support for USAF Eagle Vision programme
US-based federal information technology (IT) services company Diligent Consulting has been awarded a contract to support key imagery needs for the US Air Force (USAF).
Awarded as a task order under the NETCENTS-2 Applications Services Small Business IDIQ vehicle, the $769,087 contract seeks the company to provide cyber security technical support for the USAF’s Eagle Vision programme.
Under the contract, Diligent and teammate Kratos will deliver services and solutions to implement, integrate, and conduct Eagle Vision cybersecurity operational support.
The support services include identity management, identity authentication, threat analyses and certification and accreditation.
Diligent COO Rick Riney said: "Diligent is excited to support the AF Intelligence data gathering and dissemination mission by providing technical, advisory, C&A, cyber security, and training support to the Eagle Vision programme director.
"This programme strengthens our Intel, Cyber, Information Assurance, Cryptologic, and COMSEC business line."
The contracted has been awarded by the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) Operations Command and Control Division Intelligence Branch (HBBI) at Hanscom Air Force Base.
Eagle Vision is a commercial, off-the-shelf deployable ground station designed to process imagery from commercial satellites.
The system enables combatant commanders, the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the DoD Intelligence Community to receive and process commercial remote-sensing (CRS) imagery including broad area to high resolution, panchromatic, multispectral, and synthetic aperture radar (SAR).
