Tutor Perini to construct Khurais Electronic Warfare Range in Saudi Arabia

The US Air Force (USAF) has awarded an $80m design-build contract to Tutor Perini to design and construct facilities for the Royal Saudi Air Force.

The contract was awarded through a foreign military sale programme and is funded by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The project was competitively bid through an Air Force Civil Engineer Center multiple award task order contract, Tutor Perini stated.

"Construction is expected to begin in the spring of 2017, with plans to complete the project by early 2019."

Construction is expected to begin in the spring of 2017, with plans to complete the project by early 2019.

Work under the contract will be managed by Tutor Perini’s subsidiary, Perini Management Services, which specialises in worldwide federal construction.

Tetra Tech will be responsible for providing architect-engineering services.
