Deals this week: S4, BAE Systems, Vectrus Systems


S4 Inc. has secured a $99m-worth contract to provide information technology systems management services to the North American Aerospace Defense Command and the US Northern Command.

Awarded by the 21st Contracting Squadron, stationed at Peterson Air Force Base, the contract is scheduled to be completed in November 2021.

British aerospace and defence company, BAE Systems, has placed an order with Jenoptik AG for 28 protective radomes.

The radomes to be supplied under the contract between 2017 and 2018 are intended for the Eurofighter Typhoon combat aircraft.

Vectrus Systems Corporation has won a contract modification worth $20.44m to continue to provide base operations support services at the Gunter Annex military installation Alabama, US.

Awarded by the US 42nd Contracting Squadron, headquartered at Maxwell Air Force Base, the modification is anticipated to be completed by May next year.

The US Air Force Sustainment Center, headquartered at Tinker Air Force Base, has awarded multiple companies with a weapon system maintenance contract worth $11.4bn.

The contract awardees are required to provide maintenance support services for fielded active weapon systems at various locations until November 2023.
